We mostly provide lifelong care to animal friends at our sanctuary, especially those with disabilities, when we have the resources and ability — but occasionally we adopt out rescues and fosters that need a forever home.

Yes. We outline rules and requirements in our adoption applications, but our main requirements include:

• We have first right of refusal; no exceptions. Any animal can come back to us at any time with no questions asked. We must be contacted first if you plan to rehome or readopt your animal friend.

• We require the name(s) of the veterinary clinic or hospital that you plan to take your animal friend to. Routine veterinary care is needed for all animals adopted out, no matter the species — just like any dog or kiddo would receive.

• If adopting a farmed animal, we require photos of their housing / pasture set ups.

• Transportation is provided for all animals adopted out — either directly by us or by our partner transport organization.

• All animals adopted out will arrive with physical care guides, veterinary advice, and enrichment ideas.

• After adopting out an animal, we are always available to you for phone calls or messaging for questions, care ideas or advice, and updates.

All animals do not have adoption fees. All adoptions have a suggested and welcome donation, but we do not charge adoption fees because we know that the animal comes with a lifelong financial care need.

We do require an adoption application and a phone call meeting with our team.

Due to our financial struggles, we are unable to provide resources and funding for foster’s care, but we always provide some food donations and do our best to raise funds — while we search for a forever home.

We do not take in owner surrenders. We are overwhelmed with community rescues and our own residents, as we are a tiny operation that is mostly self-funded.
