Star

Supersonic Star (aka Lil Bun) was surrendered to us in 2021. She was suffering from a broken left hindlimb, a result of an accidental drop by her previous family. We were thankfully able to take her in and have two leg surgeries done for Bun — a first surgery to save her leg by inserting a plate, and a second surgery for amputation following post-surgery complications.

We are so grateful that Star is incredibly strong and resilient. She adapted extremely fast to only having three limbs (she is wildly speedy and never lets her disability slow her down).

Star’s favorite snacks include radicchio, blueberries, dandelions, and green leaf lettuce. Star reminds us to always adopt our companions, not to use animals as gifts, and never to dump animals outside.
